Light

Each of us carries a wick inside—ready to be lit. But not everyone chooses to light it. Yet, when just one person’s light begins to shine, it doesn’t brighten only their life. It brings light to those around them.

Jesus said, "You are the light of the world."(Matt 5:14) When we carry His light within us, others can experience that light too—even if they haven't yet found it for themselves.

We cannot force someone’s light to burn. But by keeping our flame alive, we show them that they do have a wick, and that it can be lit. That light has the power to change everything.

So light your wick with the flame of Jesus. Even if the fire feels small now, it can still shine into someone’s darkness. It can help them see the wick they’ve always had—the grace of Christ waiting to be discovered. And one day, they may take the flame from you and light their own.

Let your light shine. It matters more than you know.
